Engaged and happy Front Office Assistants are crucial to our clinics’ success. You’ll greet patients, activating patient files, and assist medical professionals as a Front Office Assistant. If you’re a team player with a warm and inviting approach, strong interpersonal skills, and multitasking ability, please apply! This is a clinical patient-facing position. Moderate noise and blood-borne pathogen exposure are risks. Long periods of standing, sitting, bending, and stooping are required.
Qualifications:
- Office workers may get more tasks. Copying and distributing messages, making spreadsheets, and data entry are examples.
- Prepare analytical reports and input analyst data to create a client-ready report. Reports are prioritized by department managers and/or office supervisors.
- Perform ad hoc or additional work as asked by the management team.
- Always observe company and departmental rules.
- Check front-desk staff knowledge. Identify performance issues and discuss them with the Supervisor or Practice Manager.
- A team member must work effectively with others and help when needed.
- This role screens and directs visitors using Covid-19 technology.
- Business policy, the ADA, the FMLA, and other legislation require regular, on-time attendance.
- This job requires multitasking when taking calls and mails.
- Distribution of faxes, interoffice forms, and other communication means
Skills:
- This job requires COVID-19 vaccination. UnitedHealth Group will follow all federal, state, and local standards and client demands to ensure compliance, including acquiring immunization proof before employment.
- Practice management system knowledge requires 30 wpm typing.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with employees, departments, and the public.
- Excel and Word fluency and verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Six months’ experience with Microsoft Office, POS, EMR, and billing applications.
