Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Maintain inventories and organize items for machine operation. Responsible for refilling paper rolls, boxes, cartons, glue, ink, and labels.
  • In order to guarantee the safety, quality, and production standards are met, the manufacturing and packaging lines should be recorded and monitored. This person keeps an eye out for things like traffic, pileups, and quality standards.
  • Label staged goods and packed products with lot numbers, storage locations, or shipment destinations. Flow, speed, and temperature are regulated.
  • Load and splice elastics. Clean millhouse and SAP applicators daily. Removes raw material packing and waste goods to designated receptacle and maintains a tidy workstation.
  • Utilize overhead gantries and other pieces of material handling equipment in order to load raw material rolls into the machine. Ensures the maximum possible uptime while causing as little interruption as possible to the production process by setting up splices. Using the appropriate safety gear, load glue melters with materials that will melt at high temperatures (PPE).
  • In order to fill vacancies or meet production needs, fill in anywhere in the department depending on individual talent and ability. Complete/conduct job-related training as required.
  • Conduct a thorough examination of the final product in order to detect any problems and confirm that it meets all of the specifications (both in-process and finished). You may pack and seal boxes as required.
  • Operate converting and packing equipment to produce high-quality goods. Ensure safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Make sure you’re watching the machinery at work. Troubleshoot any issues that are found and either fix them on-site or call in production management or maintenance for more significant ones.
  • Set up (put together and take apart) equipment, run it, adjust it, and clean it to make nutritional supplements, food products, and finished goods that meet quality, GMP, safety, and sanitation standards.

Skills:

  • the ability to follow machine setup instructions, both verbally and in writing, Attendance, punctuality, and the capacity to remain in the work area are all indicators of dependability.
  • You’ll need to have the ability to operate in hot or cold conditions with high noise levels and be exposed to various chemical and oil mixtures.
  • Minimum qualification is a high school education or GED. Qualified applicants will have 1 year of experience in a fast-paced production environment with mechanical understanding of industrial systems.
  • Good interpersonal skills and good verbal communication abilities are essential for this position; previous manufacturing experience is desired but not necessary.
  • Flexible/rotating schedule, including weekends, holidays, and overtime (covering all shift schedules), Must follow and lead safety procedures.
