Job Description

As part of our in-house call-center sales team, we want a pleasant, experienced, and performance-driven Membership Coordinator to offer our life insurance products. This is a high-volume, high-speed inside sales business with a firmly ingrained performance and accomplishment culture, where success is acknowledged and rewarded.

Qualifications:

  • Participate actively in developing membership growth strategy, researching best practices with peers and leadership, and preparing programs.
  • Review existing members’ insurance holdings and recommend potential changes.
  • Accommodate membership requests; oversee advertising for new members and the distribution of membership benefits.
  • Provide members with a central point of contact and answer to general inquiries.
  • Promote the company’s goods and services to potential and current members and insureds in order to build, maintain, and expand connections.
  • Create and maintain all membership-related office/electronic files and systems.
  • Ensure that data about our members is accurate and up to date, using Dynamics CRM.
  • Share the benefits of membership with current and potential members through our website and electronic mail/teleconferences.
  • Coordination of current member service programs, including relationship building and contracting with members.
  • Monitor and report on important membership growth metrics, and produce reports to drive the member engagement strategy.

Skills:

  • A minimum of one year of related job experience in membership, fundraising, and/or administration is required, with preference given to individuals with association and/or nonprofit expertise.
  • Expert use of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • Capability to manage various tasks, projects, and priorities professionally and successfully.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are necessary, as is the ability to function in a changing work environment.
  • Proven ability to close business and meet sales targets, as well as generate new business and partnerships.
